Why people call Connor

The hassles nobody warns you about.

These are the problems that come up most often when people buy health and life insurance, and what Connor does about each one.

58%

of insured adults hit a problem using their coverage in a single year.

The hassle

Claims get denied and nobody helps

How Connor handles it

Denials often come down to paperwork, like a missing prior authorization, and only about 1 in 10 people ever appeal. Connor knows who to call at the carrier and helps you push back, so you're not fighting it alone.

4%

of Americans could correctly define all four basic cost terms.

The hassle

The fine print reads like code

How Connor handles it

Deductible, coinsurance, out-of-pocket max. Connor shows what you'd actually pay for a doctor visit, an ER trip and your prescriptions, in plain English, before you sign anything.

$82M

FCC fine against one health insurance lead seller over robocalls.

The hassle

One quote request, fifty phone calls

How Connor handles it

Comparison sites sell your number to whoever pays. Here your information goes to Connor and stays with Connor. It's never sold, and he's the only one who follows up.

1 in 3

insured adults under 65 got an unexpected medical bill within two years.

The hassle

Your doctor turns out to be out of network

How Connor handles it

Before you choose, Connor checks that your doctors, hospitals and prescriptions are covered, so you find out on a call, not on a bill.

60 days

is usually all you get after a move, marriage or new baby to change plans.

The hassle

Missing the enrollment window

How Connor handles it

Connor tracks your dates. Many private plans accept applications year-round, subject to underwriting, and if you have a life event he makes sure you use your window.

$0

extra to have Connor re-shop your plan at every renewal.

The hassle

Rates creep up every year

How Connor handles it

Most people auto-renew into a higher price because shopping again is a chore. Connor reviews your plan each renewal and moves you if something better fits.

How it works

Three steps, one person the whole way.

01

Tell me what you need

A few short questions. No account, no credit check, nothing that touches your file.

02

I do the comparing

I pull the carriers I'm appointed with and lay the real numbers side by side, including the plan I would not pick for you, and why.

03

You choose, I handle the rest

Enrollment, ID cards, and the carrier phone calls are mine. And I'm still your agent at renewal.

FAQs

Straight answers.

Don't see your question? Connor answers calls and texts 24/7.

What is private health insurance?

Private health insurance is a great fit for people who don't qualify for subsidies, or for healthier individuals who want to pay less for better coverage.

What's the process like working with Connor?

Extremely simple. First, I get to know you and what you need, like your doctors, medications, and budget. Then we sit down together, go over your plan options side by side, and decide which one works best for you. No pressure, no jargon, just a real conversation.

What happens after I enroll?

I walk you through your plan in full so you know exactly what's covered before you ever need to use it. After that, I'm still here. If you have a question about a bill or a claim, you call me, not a hotline.

What if my needs change down the road?

Life changes, and your coverage should keep up. Whether it's a new job, a new baby, or a new prescription, just reach out and we'll review your plan together. I check in at renewal too, so you're never stuck in a plan that no longer fits.

Does using a health advisor cost me more?

No. There is no fee to you and the premium is identical to buying direct. The carrier pays the advisor.

Can I buy dental, vision, or life insurance on their own?

Yes. None of them require you to hold health coverage first.

Which states are you licensed in?

24 states. The full list with every license number is in the licensing section.

When can I enroll in a Marketplace plan?

Open Enrollment normally runs November 1 to January 15. Outside that window you need a qualifying life event.

What counts as a Special Enrollment Period?

Losing coverage, moving, marriage, birth or adoption. Most give you a 60-day window from the date of the event.

What does Medicare Supplement Plan G cover?

It covers most of what Original Medicare leaves behind: the Part A deductible, coinsurance, and excess charges. You still pay the Part B deductible.
